PIMFA appoints Nigel Stockton, CEO of TrinityBridge as a new member of the PIMFA Board

PIMFA, the leading trade association representing the wealth management, financial advice, and financial planning profession, is delighted to welcome Nigel Stockton, CEO of TrinityBridge, who was elected to its Board of Directors on the 5 May 2026.

Nigel was appointed CEO of TrinityBridge in September 2025 having previously held the position of CEO at Ascot Lloyd for nine years.  As an industry veteran with extensive experience of leading private equity backed firms having previously led Oaktree owned financial and wealth advisory firm Ascot Lloyd for eight years, overseeing its sale to Nordic Capital in 2022.

Nigel brings almost 40 years of experience in financial services including roles in private equity, retail banking and media. He is a strong supporter of the UK Wealth Management sector.

Liz Field, Chief Executive of PIMFA, commented: “With Nigel joining the PIMFA Board, he brings extensive experience in consolidation and growing businesses.  With the accelerating M&A in the sector, as well as substantial investment from private equity investors, Nigel can help PIMFA navigate this changing landscape and inform its advocacy efforts.
