While PIMFA is generally supportive of an outright ban, we would welcome a clear definition of what constitutes a client relationship and would further welcome clarity on the proposed wording of such a ban to ensure that legitimate attempts to communicate with existing clients who may not have a direct relationship with a firm are not inadvertently captured
