Bates Wealth Management was founded by David Bates, a Chartered Financial Planner with over 20 years of experience in Wealth Management and senior leadership roles.

We know that the world of finance can be confusing with many different options available in any given situation. As independent Financial Planners with considerable experience and technical expertise, we will review the whole of the market to find the best possible solution for you. We will articulate this solution in terms understandable by someone less familiar with the world of financial services.

We firmly believe that the best possible advice can only be given when the professional dispensing that advice has the time to do so. Technical expertise and the knowledge required to provide sound advice should be assumed for any Financial Planner however, even the best Planners will fall short of the standards they set themselves if they have too many clients to look after.

At Bates Wealth Management we limit the number of clients that a Financial Planner is responsible for, allowing them to really think through the best possible solution in any given situation. Exceptional advice cannot be rushed. Think fewer clients, better service.

With that in mind, we require our clients to have minimum invested/investable assets of £500,000, or a commitment to get to this level within the next 2 years.
