Keynote: The Regulatory Perspective
As regular attendees will notice, the desire for technology focussed sessions at the symposium has been noted with the launch of our new ‘technology & disruption’ stream. Our keynotes will also see the benefit of this attention, and we are delighted to welcome Jessica Rusu, Chief Data, Information & Intelligence Officer at the FCA, on the latest perspectives and signposting from her team. We are thankful to Jessica for making the time and look forward to hearing her perspectives on an evolving industry.

Keynote: Discover the power to thinking bigger with AI
On our AI journey, we move through three stages. First, AI aware: curious, cautious, observing. Then, AI forward: using AI to speed up tasks. Being AI native is always asking, “How would I think differently if intelligence were always available?”
Back for a third year, Sneha Shah, Head of SEI Next, will share how becoming AI-native isn’t about learning another tool or waiting for your organisation to catch up. It’s about how you, as an individual, choose to think, decide, and lead in a world where intelligence is no longer scarce. It requires letting go of perfection, embracing experimentation, and trusting your judgement even more—not less. Being AI-native does not mean replacing your experience—it’s means amplifying it, working in partnership with intelligence, so your energy is spent on insight, creativity, and impact.

Longevity in Women: Detecting risk before disease develops
Women are living longer than ever before. Longevity with good health and vital function should be the aim.
Many of the conditions that impact long-term health and performance in women, including cardiovascular disease, metabolic dysfunction and cancer; develop silently and are often detected late.
This session explores how risk presents differently in women and why traditional approaches to screening may fail to identify early disease. Using a structured, three-domain approach: cardiovascular health, metabolic function, and cancer risk, it will show how a more precise, individualised strategy can identify risk earlier and support better long-term outcomes.
Designed for high-performing women, this talk focuses on understanding where risk truly lies and how to approach health proactively rather than reactively.

The Human Edge: Communication in the Age of AI
AI can draft your emails, polish your reports and generate your talking points. But can it build trust with a client? Inspire a team? Make someone feel genuinely heard? That’s your edge – and it’s not going anywhere. As AI reshapes how we work and communicate, the professionals who stand out are those combining smart use of technology with something no algorithm can manufacture: credibility, judgement and nuance.
In this session, communications consultant and trainer Monika Morgan introduces her signature framework for using AI with confidence, clarity and a voice that’s unmistakably yours. Drawn from her work with organisations navigating AI adoption, it’s practical and immediately applicable.
You’ll leave knowing how to:
- Lead with the one thing AI can’t replicate – your judgement
- Use AI to sharpen your thinking without diluting your voice or your perspective
- Apply Monika’s practical, memorable framework every time you sit down to write, communicate or create
Whether you’re already experimenting with AI or approaching it with caution, this session will help you show up with more clarity, confidence and impact – in the room, in writing and with the clients who matter most.

IVF Support – What, How and the ROI for Why
Following on from one of last year’s event highlights, the eye-opening panel on pregnancy loss and fertility, we are carrying on the conversation about spreading awareness and encouraging employer support for women (and partners) working through fertility issues.
This session will explain the growing endemic of reproductive health issues globally and relate the conversation to what the employee experiences during this time, including the impact of treatment. Charlotte will then explain how businesses can support employees going through these challenges, and what the benefits are to businesses that provide this support.
Speakers
Charlotte Gentry
Charlotte Gentry is a well-known entrepreneur in the marketing and communications sector and is the founder of The IVFN, an employee benefit platform designed to help people who are undergoing any fertility related challenge. The IVFN provides employer membership to support people who are struggling with miscarriage, PCOS, Endometriosis, male infertility issues, trauma, and baby loss. A large focus is also on supporting those people within the LGBTQ+ community and providing complex information on donor and surrogacy.
As a result of undergoing 9 years of fertility journey, Charlotte discovered that it was very hard to gain diversity of opinion about her particular fertility issues without spending a lot of money to get it. She has therefore built a platform which brings all the ‘best in class’ specialists together, and has now enabled her members to access free consultations from the number one experts globally, as well as 24/7 nursing care.
A key focus of The IVFN is to support the business, not just the employee and The IVFN does this through content curated to educate the HR, DEI or line manager, provide workshops and a suite of tools to support a business with becoming Menopause Action Plan Ready.
Charlotte previously owned Pure Communications Group, an integrated communications agency which she sold last year to MCI, a global events network.
The Pipeline Problem
Women remain significantly underrepresented in investment management – and the gap starts far earlier than most firms realise. The majority of young women who could thrive in this industry never consider it, not because they lack the skills or ambition, but because no one ever told them it existed.
In this session, Tanya Tracey, CEO of GAIN (Girls Are INvestors), will explore what the data tells us about the awareness gap facing our industry, what genuinely moves the needle for young women at school and university level, and how GAIN’s free programmes — from investment challenges to paid internships — are already changing trajectories for thousands of students across the UK.
Drawing on real student stories and impact data from GAIN’s work, Tanya will share practical insights for firms and individuals looking to play a meaningful role in building a more diverse talent pipeline.

Integrating Pension and Money Guidance to Improve Financial Wellbeing
As financial lives become increasingly complex, people are often required to make decisions across multiple domains—day-to-day money management, debt, savings, and long-term retirement planning. Traditionally, pension guidance and general money advice have been delivered separately, which could lead to confusion, missed opportunities, and poorer financial outcomes.
MaPS has recognised this need for our customers and have brought together our pension and money guidance services offering a more holistic, customer-centred approach. This session will outline the changes made and what the benefits of an integrated service are for our customers.

Charlotte Jackson
AI-Human readiness is not a technology problem. It's a humanity problem.
We’ve spent years asking whether our systems are ready. Whether the model is tested, the vendor is credible, the business case is sound. And in most organisations, those boxes are ticked.
What we ask far less often is whether our people are ready. Whether human voices, instincts, and judgement are genuinely shaping how AI is adopted and used or whether they’re quietly being assumed away. Whether the choices about how technology shapes our future are ones we’re actually making, or ones that are simply happening around us.
This session doesn’t talk about that question. It puts you inside it.
You’ll be taking part in a fast-paced, fully immersive simulation built for leaders looking to understand what AI-Human readiness is and why it matters. In 30 minutes, the whole room becomes part of a story that is unfolding whether you’re ready for it or not. You’ll make choices, you’ll see what others choose. Consequence follow. Then we dig into why it all matters.
Fair warning: What unfolds may tell you more about you and your organisation’s real readiness for AI than any survey, or strategy document commissioned internally.
Because the organisations that will get AI right aren’t the ones with the most advanced technology. They’re the ones where every person understands the role they play in it and have the freedom to do so.
Come ready to choose. Come ready to be surprised.

Leadership gets all the glory—but what about the other 99% of the time?
We spend most of our lives as followers: on teams at work, in our families, in our communities, and in our friendships. Yet we rarely talk about how to do it well. For Your Career:
- How exceptional followers become indispensable team members and fast-track their advancement
- The difference between passive compliance and active, engaged followership
- How followership increases agency at work
- Strategies for influencing up and building trust with leaders and peers
- Why the most effective leaders are almost always the most effective followers first
For Your Personal Life:
- How followership principles strengthen partnerships, parenting, and friendships
- The art of knowing when to lead and when to support in relationships
- Building deeper trust through reliable, thoughtful engagement
- Creating reciprocal relationships where everyone thrives
In our workplaces and homes, we’re constantly navigating the dance between leading and following. Educating companies on domestic abuse
In the UK, one in three women and one in five men will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime.
In this session, survivor and MBE-awarded activist Sharon Livermore will talk about how employers can make a genuine difference through education, policy, and cultural change, highlighting that even small actions can save lives.
Speakers
Sharon Livermore MBE
In 2015, Sharon narrowly escaped becoming part of a devastating statistic; in the UK, one woman is killed every five days, on average, by a current or former partner. Surviving that experience changed everything. It gave her not just a second chance, but a mission: to use her voice as a force for change.
Sharon is now an award-winning advocate, speaker, and educator in the field of domestic abuse. In 2024, she was honoured with an MBE for services to victims of domestic abuse, a recognition she holds with deep pride and humility.
Her work is rooted in lived experience and a powerful belief: that the workplace can be more than just a place of employment, it can be a lifeline. For Sharon, work was the only environment that offered a sense of safety. But even then, as research shows, up to 75% of employed victims are harassed by their abusers while at work. This reality fuels her passion for change. Sharon’s mission is to educate businesses across the UK on the realities of domestic abuse and empower them to take action, by equipping leaders and employees with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to support colleagues who may be experiencing abuse now or in the future.
Sharon is committed to ensuring every organisation has a clear and compassionate Domestic Abuse Policy, along with the understanding that even small actions can save lives. Through training, consultancy, speaking engagements, and free resources, Sharon is working to build safer workplaces, and a future where no one feels alone in their experience. Together, we can break the silence and stop abuse.

Sam Carrington
Smirk Experience trains companies on the transferable skills between business communication and stand-up comedy. It’s derived from Founder and CEO Sam Carrington’s previous role in high end sales and current role as a professional stand-up comedian.
Sam began his career in radio and television production before hopping over to the sales side for GMTV and latterly ITV. He finished there as one of the company’s youngest Sales Controllers, running a team monetising ITV Breakfast’s digital output. While in this role Sam tried his hand at standup comedy and loved. He immersed himself in doing gigs, attending workshops and reading books on the subject.
As he got better at comedy he began getting on paid shows, travelling round the country and overseas; to date he’s done around a 1,000 gigs, including three full runs at the Edinburgh Fringe. Interestingly he also noticed certain aspects of his day job at ITV got easier and easier due to all the tips tricks, techniques and mindsets he was learning.
