PIMFA consultation response on restricting CMC charges for financial products and services claims
PIMFA response to FCA consultation on restricting CMC charges for financial products and services claims. We strongly believe that, in the event of a consumer receiving a bad outcome, they should have grounds for complaint which, if successful, should see them adequately compensated. However, we also believe that the market would benefit significantly from Greater transparency of CMC services offered and also control over costs incurred by the claimant - the current fees that they are able to charge clients is too high and should be capped.
