PIMFAs response to CP17-37 Consultation Paper on Industry Codes of Conduct

PIMFA’s response to FCA CP17/37 Consultation Paper on Industry Codes of Conduct and Discussion Paper on FCA Principle 5, where we highlight a number of concerns including; The scope of an industry code must be clear; Industry codes will be seen as ‘quasi-regulation’ by firms and that any proposed codes should be published on FCA’s website to ensure all stakeholders have an opportunity to review the content and are allowed a reasonable time period to respond
