PIMFA’s response to the EDPB consultation on Guidelines 3/2018 on the territorial scope of the GDPR. The EDPB guidelines provide some welcome clarifications on the GDPR’s territorial scope. However further guidance would still be welcome in various areas and hopefully some additional clarification will be provided in the Guidelines on International Transfers which the EDPB is currently working on
