The breadth of the Call for Input is, we believe, indicative of the fact that it is a market which is not working particularly well both for retail investors and for our members and we would particularly like to draw attention to the following: The drive towards simplification; Aspects of the regime which are currently not working particularly well; and ensuring that the compensation scheme works for those who benefit from it and those who fund it.
