PIMFA response to the FCA Consultation Paper 23/20: Diversity and inclusion in the financial sector – working together to drive change. Typically, firms in the wealth management sector are at different stages in their approach and implementation of D&I, depending on their size, business model and location. Proposals contained in this consultation paper are clearly aimed at achieving faster and more measurable progress, which we welcome. However, we consider that taking into account the following issues would improve the proposals as currently drafted and help firms achieve meaningful change
