In 2023, we had an idea to develop and launch a flagship event inspired by our US colleagues. The aim was to create a safe space where women and allies could connect and engage with cutting-edge content related to their professional lives in wealth and practice management, as well as personal topics like career development and health.
The first Women’s Symposium took place in 2024 with 60+ speakers and 350+ attendees. It was also recognised with a ‘Best New Event’ award at the Association Excellence Awards.
In 2025 we raised the stakes, with 75+ speakers, 500 delegates, and more content covered then before. The expanded programme offered a mix of learning and thought leadership opportunities, including workshops, leadership and personal development keynotes, panel discussions, and four content streams addressing both the personal and professional development needs of women in our industry.
For 2026 we are thrilled to announce an expanded format with FIVE content streams, diving into the most pressing industry topics while addressing often-overlooked yet essential issues.

In the high-speed world of financial targets, information overload, and more emails than you should probably receive, balancing pressure can be overwhelming. Discussing coping mechanisms for high stress situations, the session will aim to inspire and share easily adoptable techniques that we can all implement when we need them most.
Presentation: Culture – not a meaningless term
The old adage ‘culture eats strategy for breakfast’ feels like a cliché today – but like many cliches, it is popular for a reason. How effectively a firm maintains its direction of travel long term is a product of subtle action in quiet moments, and a clearly orientated company identity forms the bedrock of this.

Within the discussions on the ‘great wealth transfer’ and generational shifts in client bases, there is a technological shift in how new clients prefer engagement.
