Please see below for detail about our Business Leaders’ Special event we are hosting on 11 November.

We are delighted to announce our panellists for the event which will centre around COP26 & the climate economy. Our panel will consider the role of business leaders within the context of climate change, sustainability and ESG.

Introducing our panellists:
• Sheena McGuinness – Head of Renewables and Cleantech at RSM UK
• Ian Cuddington – Director of Economic Development at Rolls Royce
• Kathryn McLeod – Head of Finance, Off Trade & Marketing at Heineken UK
• Ranajoy Basu – Head of Structured Finance and Impact Investment at McDermott Will & Emery

Business leaders constantly deal with challenges on both a micro and macro scale. Among other current challenges, climate change is now on the agenda for most businesses. The climate crisis has far-reaching implications, from the health and livelihoods of global populations, through to lasting effects on the political and economic landscape, both domestic and international.

The Business Leaders’ Special Event will open with a roundup of the COP26 event being held in Glasgow between 31 October and 12 November, led by Simon Hart and RSM US Chief Economist Joe Brusuelas. Alex Tait will then facilitate the discussion panel with our business leaders. Finally, Simon and Joe will be joined by RSM UK Economist, Thomas Pugh for our last session which will explore the geopolitical and economic trends that will affect businesses over the coming months.

In the current political and economic climate, this is an event not to be missed.
